SREE CHITRA TIRUNAL INSTITUTE FOR MEDICAL SCIENCE  & TECHNOLOGY(SCTIMST) established by the Government of Kerala as an advanced centre for medical specialties, Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) metamorphosed into an Institution of National Importance with the status of a University in 1980 under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India by an Act of Parliament (Act 52 of 1980)

Post - Project Scientist 

Vacancies- 02

Age Limit - 35 years (as on 31/07/2020)

Qualification - M Sc in Biochemistry/Biotechnology/Microbiology with 60%  marks.

(Desirable): Knowledge in basic computer applications, bioinformatics; knowledge in doing ELISA,ELFA,CFIA etc.

Experience: Two years of relevant work or research experience from a recognized industry/Institution. Lateral flow immune assay developments, ELISA developments, basic Immunologic techniques.

Job Description - To design and perform experiments, travel to participating sites and coordinate experiments, to assist in preparation of progress report, assist in writing scientific papers/patents for publications.

Payscale - 16,000/- + HRA (consolidated)

Duration - 12 months or the end of the project, whichever is earlier.
