Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in the year 1972 as a fully owned Govt of India company. In the last three decades the company has emerged as a forerunner in the Indian Shipbuilding & Shiprepair industry.
CSL invites online application from eligible candidates (Vocational/ITI) for undergoing one year apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act 1961

    2. Customer Relationship Management - 01 - 9,000/-Rs
    3. Electrical & Electronic Technology - 01 - 9,000/-Rs
    4. Food & Restaurant Management - 03 - 9,000/-Rs
    5. Basic Nursing and Palliative care - 01 - 9,000/-Rs
2.Trade Apprentices (category 2.)

  1. Electrician - 47 - 8,000Rs
  2. Fitter - 36 - 8,000Rs
  3. Welder - 47 - 8,000Rs
  4. Machinist - 10 - 8,000Rs
  5. Electronic Mechanic - 15 - 8,000Rs
  6. Draughtsman - 6(mechanical)+4(civil) - 8,000/-Rs

*Age Limit will be followed as per the Apprenticeship Rules


Qualifications

  1. Category 1 Technician (Vocational) Apprentices

Pass in Vocational Higher Secondary Education (VHSE)in the concerned vocation.
  
  2. Category 2 Trade Apprentices

Pass in ITI in the concerned trade.
Certificate/Provisional National Trade Certificate(NTC) in designated trades that are approved for undergoing Apprenticeship Training.


*Those applicants having qualifications equivalent to any prescribed qualification should upload Equivalency Certificate issued by the competent authority while submitting their online application and without such certificates, their candidature will be not considered.
