National Institute of Technology Calicut (NIT Calicut or NITC), formerly Regional Engineering College Calicut, is a public technical university and an institute of national importance governed by the NIT Act passed by the Parliament of India. 

National Institute of Technology, Calicut was set up in 1961 as Regional Engineering College Calicut (CREC), the ninth of its kind and the first one to be established during the Third Five-Year Plan period. Until the formation of Calicut University in 1963, the institute was affiliated with Kerala University.

The Education organization invites online application from eligible candidates having B.Tech, M.Tech, Engg Diploma, M.Sc, B.Sc, BCA, MCA, MBBS, DMLT, ITI, 12th, Post Graduate qualifications. These Non-Teaching Posts are in NIT Calicut, Calicut, Kerala on deputation basis.

Resident Medical Officer(male)	MBBS Degree or equivalent qualification included in any one of the schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956) with Post Graduation One-year clinical experience.
Pharmaceutical Assistant(male)	(i) 10+2 in science (PCB/PCM) subjects from recognized Board or University (ii) 2 Years Diploma with First class from an Institute recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India Only for 2-year diploma holders: Minimum two years’ experience in any recognized hospital or Pharmacy
Lab Technician(clinical)	Diploma in Medical lab technology (DMLT) from Govt or Government recognized institutions Minimum one-year experience as Lab technician in a reputed hospital.
